linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,118 (up from 9,116 on 08-31, +2).
One new post since 08-31 — hashtags UX/UIDesign/ProductDesign/DesignSystems/Portfolio, links nazzaly.com, currently 0 reactions/1 comment/94 impressions (too fresh to judge). Pushed the oldest of the prior 5 tracked posts (2 reactions/1 comment/173 impressions) off the top-5 view. The other 4 kept accruing impressions organically, reactions/comments flat:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (new) | 0 | 1 | 94 |
| 2 | 1 | 1 | 146 (was 137 on 08-31) |
| 3 | 2 | 2 | 215 (was 213) |
| 4 | 2 | 1 | 99 (was 99, flat) |
| 5 | 6 | 1 | 294 (was 292) |
Average: 2.2 reactions / 1.2 comments per post (was 2.6/1.2 on 08-31) — pulled down by the brand-new post starting at 0.
No change since 08-31 — identical top-3, still 100% reposts, zero authored content (Kate Gwynne job-listing repost 2 reactions/1 comment, Fadi Nicolas Zahhar AUB-diploma repost 4 reactions/1 comment, Dana Zaarour AUB-masterclass recap repost 3 reactions/1 comment — all unchanged). Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Yaser has now published new tagged, CTA-linked posts on 08-29 and again since 08-31 — Maher still has zero authored posts to build any cadence or CTA into, across five consecutive daily checks.
No new post since 08-31 — same 5 posts. Her second-most-recent post ticked up 1→2 reactions (comments steady at 2); her SAMA/Saudi-fintech anchor post held steady at 16 reactions/7 comments — still the only post in this peer set naming a real client + a dated stat + a specific CTA. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: none of his current 5 posts name a specific client project the way her anchor post does, and her anchor post's 16 reactions still beats his best post today (6 reactions).
Fully unchanged since 08-31 — same 5 Behance case-study posts, same reactions (50/30/16/27/36) and comments (13/15/2/8/7). Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Bendary's short-caption-plus-case-study-link format still pulls double-digit comment threads (13, 15) even with zero new content this week — Yaser's longest-running current post tops out at 2 comments.

linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,116 (up from 9,112 on 08-29, +4).
One new post since 08-29 — tagged #UX #UIDesign #ProductDesign #AI, links nazzaly.com, currently 1 reaction/1 comment/137 impressions. Pushed the oldest of the prior 5 tracked posts (3 reactions/1 comment/209 impressions) off the top-5 view. The other 4 kept accruing impressions organically, reactions/comments flat:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (new) | 1 | 1 | 137 |
| 2 | 2 | 2 | 213 (was 1/1/165 on 08-29 — gained 1 reaction, 1 comment) |
| 3 | 2 | 1 | 99 (was 93) |
| 4 | 6 | 1 | 292 (was 278) |
| 5 | 2 | 1 | 173 (was 165) |
Average: 2.6 reactions / 1.2 comments per post (was 2.8/1.0 on 08-29) — close to flat.
No change since 08-29 — identical top-5, still 100% reposts, zero authored content (Kate Gwynne's job-listing repost still 2 reactions/1 comment, Fadi Nicolas Zahhar's AUB diploma-completion repost still 4 reactions/1 comment). Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Yaser keeps publishing his own tagged posts with a CTA link on a near-daily cadence — Maher still has zero authored posts to build any CTA into, two runs in a row.
No new posts since 08-29 — same two recent posts identified that day (one #case_study + Arabic مساعدة tag, one #FinTech #UXDesign #ProductDesign #BusinessGrowth #BankingTech tag), both grew from 0 reactions to 1 reaction each over the 2 days (the FinTech one also picked up 2 comments). Her SAMA/Saudi-fintech case study remains her top performer, steady at 16 reactions/7 comments — still the only post in this peer set naming a real client + a dated stat + a specific CTA. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: none of his current 5 posts name a specific client project the way her anchor post does.
Peer comparison
linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,112 (down from 9,113 on 08-27 — noise-level fluctuation).
New post published since 08-27 — tagged #UX #UIDesign #ProductDesign #DesignSystems #Frontend, currently 1 reaction/1 comment/165 impressions. Notably this is the first post in the tracked window with a visible external link (nazzaly.com) attached. It pushed the oldest of the prior 5 tracked posts (2 reactions/5 comments/408 impressions) off the top-5 view; the other 4 kept accruing impressions organically with reactions/comments unchanged:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (new) | 1 | 1 | 165 |
| 2 | 2 | 1 | 93 (was 4 on 08-27 — this is the Figma/DesignFundamentals post) |
| 3 | 6 | 1 | 278 (was 256) |
| 4 | 2 | 1 | 165 (was 164) |
| 5 | 3 | 1 | 209 (unchanged) |
Average: 2.8 reactions / 1.0 comments per post (was 2.6/1.8 on 08-27) — comments average dropped because the high-comment post (5 comments) rolled off the tracked window, not because engagement declined.
Rechecked: identical top-5 to 08-27 — no new authored post or repost. Still 100% reposts, zero authored content, same earned-content mechanism (Kate Gwynne's job-listing repost at 2 reactions/1 comment, Fadi Nicolas Zahhar's AUB diploma-completion repost at 4 reactions/1 comment). Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Yaser now has a post carrying an explicit external link/CTA (nazzaly.com) — Maher still has no authored post to build a CTA into at all.
Two new posts since 08-27, both very fresh (0 reactions/0 comments) — one tagged #case_study + an Arabic hashtag (مساعدة/"help"), one tagged #FinTech #UXDesign #ProductDesign #BusinessGrowth #BankingTech. Both pushed older posts out of the tracked top-5. Her SAMA/Saudi-fintech case study remains unchanged as her top performer: 16 reactions/7 comments — still the single post in this whole peer set that names a real client + a dated stat + closes on a specific CTA. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: none of his current 5 posts name a specific client project the way her anchor post does.
Peer comparison
linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,113 (up from 9,108 on 2026-08-24).
New post published since 08-24 — tagged #UX #UIDesign #ProductDesign #Figma #DesignFundamentals, currently 4 impressions/0 reactions/1 comment (too fresh to judge). It pushed the oldest of the prior 5 tracked posts off the top-5 view; the remaining 4 kept accruing engagement organically:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (new) | 0 | 1 | 4 |
| 2 | 6 | 1 | 256 |
| 3 | 2 | 1 | 164 |
| 4 | 3 | 1 | 209 |
| 5 | 2 | 5 | 408 |
Average: 2.6 reactions / 1.8 comments per post (up from 1.4/1.6 on 08-24) — driven by organic growth on already-published posts (post #2's reactions jumped from 1 to 6), not by the new post itself.
Rechecked: still 100% reposts — zero authored posts, same pattern since 08-17. Two new items since the last check: a repost of a colleague's job listing (2 reactions/1 comment) and a repost of a former student's AUB UX/UI-diploma completion announcement (4 reactions/1 comment) — both earned content flowing from his teaching/masterclass network, not his own writing. The two masterclass-attendee recaps from 08-24 (Dana Zaarour, Sally Abboud) are still present, now positions #3 and #5. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Maher's engagement keeps coming from other people's posts about him, not anything he authors — Yaser has no equivalent mechanism.
New post published since 08-24 — very fresh (0 reactions, 1 comment, no hashtags visible yet), image-based. It pushed her oldest prior post off the tracked 5; the other 4 are unchanged: her SAMA/Saudi-fintech case study still leads at 16 reactions/7 comments. Average (4.6 reactions/1.8 comments) is unchanged from 08-24 purely by coincidence — the new post and the one it displaced both read 0 reactions/1 comment. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: her top post still names a real client + a dated stat; none of Yaser's 5 current posts have a visible named-client or CTA.
Peer comparison
linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,108 (flat since 2026-08-22).
Last 5 posts, real engagement — same 5 posts as 08-22, no new post published:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1 | 138 |
| 2 | 1 | 1 | 188 |
| 3 | 2 | 5 | 385 |
| 4 | 2 | 1 | 94 |
| 5 | 1 | 0 | 118 |
Average: 1.4 reactions / 1.6 comments per post (up slightly from 1.2/1.6 on 08-22). Post #3 is the same post that led the 08-22 reading (354 impressions/5 comments) — impressions have grown to 385 organically, confirming the counts are still accruing rather than a new post appearing. Still no new content published since 08-22.
Rechecked via linkedin.com/in/maherberro/recent-activity/all/: his 5 most recent activity items are still 100% reposts — zero authored posts, same pattern as every prior check since 08-17. Two are new since the last check: attendee recap posts from a new AUB masterclass session ("Why People Quit: The Hidden Patterns of Customer Experience") by Dana Zaarour (3 reactions/1 comment) and Sally Abboud (3 reactions). Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Maher's real engagement keeps coming from other people's posts about attending his events, not from anything he writes himself — Yaser has no equivalent event/masterclass mechanism generating earned content from attendees.
First recheck since the 08-18 audit (her profile URL — linkedin.com/in/lamis-salmy-4baa80b8/ — is now recorded in config.md so future runs don't need to re-search). Same 5 authored posts as 08-18, no new post: reactions 1, 16, 1, 5, 0; comments 0, 7, 0, 1, 1 (avg 4.6 reactions / 1.8 comments — well above Yaser's 1.4/1.6 on a comparable follower base). Her best post (SAMA/Saudi-fintech case study, now 16 reactions/7 comments, up from 14/7) still names a real client and a dated CTA — the same construction Yaser's posts consistently lack (his 5 posts above have no visible CTA or named client in any hashtag/caption sampled).
Peer comparison
linkedin-autopost session, /recent-activity/all/)Followers: 9,108 (down slightly from 9,110 on 2026-08-20 — a small natural fluctuation, not a sustained drop; nothing to act on).
Last 5 posts, real engagement:
| Post # | Reactions | Comments | Impressions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 | 5 | 354 |
| 2 | 2 | 1 | 87 |
| 3 | 1 | 0 | 110 |
| 4 | 0 | 1 | 71 |
| 5 | 1 | 1 | 65 |
Average: 1.2 reactions / 1.6 comments per post. Both averages are up from the 08-20 reading (1.0 reactions / 0.67 comments), and post #1's 354 impressions / 5 comments is the strongest single-post reading recorded since tracking began (2026-08-15). This is a real, if still modest, engagement uptick — worth noting which post is #1 (5 comments, 354 impressions) next time its topic/hook is identifiable, to understand what drove the jump.
WebFetch on instagram.com/nazzaly73 again returned only the anonymous login-wall placeholder (logo assets, no bio/follower/post data) — same result as every prior check (08-15, 08-17, 08-18, 08-20). No Instagram row added today; this is a structural platform limitation (anonymous view is login-walled), not a data gap specific to today. An authenticated Instagram session, if one is ever set up, would resolve this permanently — flagged, not actioned without Yaser's decision.
Processed 1 queued video-idea brief from the dashboard's /videos page — see reports/ideas/87d8e649-*-en.md / -ar.md.

Own LinkedIn (checked live via `linkedin-autopost` session, `/recent-activity/all/`): 9,110 followers (up from 9,109 on 2026-08-18). Three posts have gone up since the 08-18 check that found "no new post since 08-17, both existing posts still 0 reactions": "Design the agent’s behavior, not just its screen" (22h old, 2 reactions, 1 comment, 48 impressions), "Visual craft is only one part of UX" (1-2d old, 1 reaction, 74 impressions, 0 comments), "Most UX handoff diagrams stop at ‘ready for engineering’" (3d old, at least 1 comment, 67 impressions). Real change from the prior flat-line: engagement is no longer zero, but still single-digit reactions per post against a 9,110-follower base — reach, not resonance, is still the gap.
Maher Berro recheck (`/recent-activity/all/`): No new pattern. Top of his activity is still earned/attendee content — a repost of American University of Beirut’s award announcement (19 reactions, 3 reposts) and his own reply-thread thanking Sally Abboud for her AUB masterclass recap (5d old) — same "amplify what others say about me" pattern documented 2026-08-17, not a new authored post to compare against.
This was a feed scan, not an own-profile re-check. No new follower or profile-engagement number is claimed. The last known LinkedIn figure in config.md is 9,108 followers; that entry has no date attached, so it is not presented as today’s number.
Hamish O'Neill: 109 reactions, 114 comments, 7 reposts. Pattern: comment-gate mechanic—“comment and I’ll send you early access” drove near-identical access requests and DM replies.
Maryam Mudassar: 258 reactions, 13 comments, 47 reposts. Pattern: utility-reference visual—an exact desktop/tablet/mobile grid infographic carried engagement, especially saves and reposts.
Kelly Zhang: 64 reactions, 16 comments. Pattern: contrarian-stance debate—disagreeing with ultra-short UX case studies produced substantive discussion, without a CTA or visual asset.
Emmanuel Joseph: 250 reactions, 45 comments, 2 reposts. Pattern: personal-narrative peer-community—a work-in-progress onboarding story built around “expensive” versus “intentional” drew supportive discussion from fellow designers.
Kelly’s contrarian debate pattern is the strongest fit. Yaser’s story is about turning complex, inconsistent, disconnected products into simple, intuitive experiences. A stance on “simplification” lets him use 16+ years across enterprise, government, banking, healthcare, and complex domains while teaching fellow and aspiring designers. It carries the Trainer & Mentor pillar.
Peer comparison
Same earned-content pattern as 08-17, now with counts: three attendee recap posts of his AUB masterclass are outperforming anything in Yaser's own feed — Yehia Fayyad's recap (9 reactions, 2 comments), Sally Abboud's (2 reactions), Ruba Hamadeh Issa's (2 reactions, 2 comments). Ruba's recap carries his dated CTA link (Aug 25 UX/UI diploma cohort, https://lnkd.in/d3CUWQj4) inside her post, not his own. No new Maher-authored post observed today beyond the 08-17 baseline.
Freshly audited earlier today — see research/2026-08-18-hook-patterns.md for the full breakdown, not re-fetched a second time this pass. Key finding already logged: her two top posts (14 reactions/7 comments; 5/1) each name a real client + cite an external study stat + close on a dated/named CTA (free 30-min consult); her lowest (1 reaction/0 comments) is claim-plus-question only, no client, no CTA.
Peer comparison
Yaser's next post should close with a named, dated offer (a free 15-min GCC-enterprise design review call, a specific date) instead of only an open reflection question — matching the one structural piece Maher's top post has that Yaser's current posts don't.
Followers: 1,340 (unchanged from 08-31; read from the public profile header before the login wall hit). The ux-marketing-strategist-instagram agent-browser session has lost its authentication — navigating to /accounts/activity/ redirected straight to the Instagram login page. Per the credentials rule, this agent cannot re-authenticate itself; Yaser needs to log in manually once to restore the session, same as the original 2026-08-27 setup.
Before the wall fully blocked navigation, the public profile grid's alt-text showed 3 new items dated August 31, 2026 (2 short video clips + a photo) posted since the last confirmed check on 08-30 — genuinely new content, but no engagement numbers (views/likes/reach) are available this run without the authenticated session.
Skipped — self-throttled, research/2026-08-27-hook-patterns.md is only 5 days old (window: 7 days).
link-queue.json, topics.json, draft-queue.json: nothing queued — all existing entries already done. intake-answers.json: already synced, no new entries.
metrics-history.json (+4 rows: Yaser Nazzal LinkedIn, Yaser Nazzal Instagram — followers only, engagement/impressions unavailable — Lamis Salmy LinkedIn, Muhammad Bendary LinkedIn. Maher Berro row skipped again — no authored-content reading to measure and his follower count wasn't reread this run).
Fully unchanged since 08-29 — same 5 Behance case-study posts, same reactions (50/30/16/27/36) and same comments (13/15/2/8/7). No new content, no further engagement drift. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Bendary's short-caption-plus-case-study-link format still pulls double-digit comment threads Yaser's longer-form posts don't get.
ux-marketing-strategist-instagram session — first check since 08-27)Followers: 1,340 (up from 1,338 on 08-27). Posts: 20 (up from 19).
New post, Aug 30 — "Know the Difference: UI vs UX" graphic. Real Insights pulled from the post's own analytics panel: 260 views (16.2% followers / 83.8% non-followers — algorithm is actively pushing this past his own audience), 253 reached from Home, 7 from Other, 337 Meta accounts reached, 49 likes, 0 comments. This is the strongest single-post reading recorded for this account since tracking began (prior best was 41 views on 08-27) — a concrete signal that direct-comparison/definition-style graphics outperform his other Instagram formats, worth testing again deliberately rather than treating as a one-off.
Skipped — self-throttled, research/2026-08-27-hook-patterns.md is only 4 days old (window: 7 days).
link-queue.json, topics.json, draft-queue.json: nothing queued — all existing entries already done. intake-answers.json: already synced, no new entries.
metrics-history.json (+5 rows: Yaser Nazzal LinkedIn, Yaser Nazzal Instagram, Maher Berro LinkedIn, Lamis Salmy LinkedIn, Muhammad Bendary LinkedIn).
No new post — same 5 Behance case-study shares as 08-27 (50/30/16/27/36 reactions, unchanged). But comment counts on all 5 jumped sharply since 08-27: 0/0/0/0/0 → 13/15/2/8/7 comments. Worth flagging as a real, observed change even without a confirmed cause — his posts went from zero two-way engagement to a real comment thread on every post without any new content being published. Concrete difference vs. Yaser: Bendary's format (short caption + Behance case-study link) now shows comment engagement Yaser's longer-form posts don't have.
Skipped — self-throttled, research/2026-08-27-hook-patterns.md is only 2 days old (window: 7 days).
Skipped this run — session load hit a "Turn on Notifications" interstitial and the run was already past its ~60-minute budget by the time LinkedIn checks (own + 3 peers) finished; prioritized per SKILL.md hard rule 6b (queues → peer comparison → metrics over Instagram, which isn't in that priority list). Not carried forward from 08-27's numbers.
link-queue.json, topics.json, draft-queue.json: nothing queued — all existing entries already done. intake-answers.json: already synced, no new entries.

Scanned one bounded screen of Yaser's "recently added" connections. Two new design-relevant profiles, both Egypt-based:
tier: peer. His 5 most recent activity items are 100% authored Behance case-study posts (Egypt/Saudi Arabia/UAE client work), 16-50 reactions each, 0 comments on all 5 — a lighter one-paragraph-plus-portfolio-link format than Yaser's longer posts, worth testing.
tier: connection. Mostrecent activity is 100% reposts; thin authored signal, tracked for country/reach only.
Full breakdown: research/2026-08-27-hook-patterns.md.
WebFetch on instagram.com/nazzaly again returned only the anonymous login-wall placeholder — same structural limitation as every prior check.

Maryam’s utility-reference pattern is a strong second format for design-systems and AI-workflow content. Yaser’s mechanism—UX strategy, strong UI execution, scalable systems, user-centered thinking, and human-led AI workflows—can become a reusable diagram or checklist.
Rule out the comment-gate: it is a product-launch growth hack tied to free early access, not a fit when Yaser is not launching a SaaS tool. Emmanuel’s personal narrative suits mentoring, but the freelance “$5k app” positioning does not match Yaser’s enterprise/GCC leadership. Use personal stories when they carry a documented lesson.
Working title: The goal of enterprise UX isn’t to hide complexity
Strategy: Use a text-only contrarian stance to turn Yaser’s real “complexity to clarity” enemy statement into a position designers can discuss.
Ready-to-post caption:
Unpopular UX opinion: “Just simplify the screen” is not a strategy.
I disagree.
After 16+ years across banking, government, healthcare, telecom, real estate, tourism, and enterprise platforms, I’ve learned that complexity does not disappear when we remove information.
It often returns as confusing user journeys, inconsistent interfaces, weak design systems, slow design processes, or products built around internal requirements instead of what users need.
The goal is not to make a complex product look simple.
The goal is to make it understandable.
That means connecting UX strategy, strong UI execution, scalable design systems, and user-centered thinking.
AI can accelerate research, ideation, content, prototyping, and production. But strategic and design decisions still need to stay human-led.
This is the kind of work I’ve carried through enterprise and government projects, including TAMM and GPSSA: turning complex requirements into clearer, more intuitive experiences.
So when a team asks you to “simplify” a product, don’t start by deleting.
Start by asking:
What is the user actually trying to do? Where is the experience inconsistent? Which decision should the system make easier?
Simple is the outcome. Clarity is the practice.
What do you look for before simplifying a complex product?
Second draft alternative — title: Three questions before adding another design-system component
Before adding another component to a design system, I ask:
A design system is more than UI parts. It turns complexity into clarity across products, teams, and workflows.
My approach combines UX strategy, strong UI execution, scalable systems, user-centered thinking, and AI-assisted workflows—with decisions kept human-led.
Save this for your next design-system review.
Use the primary draft as text-only, with generous line breaks and no image or video. Kelly’s strongest substantive-comment example used zero visual assets; the written argument did the work. Save Yaser’s weekly on-camera comfort for a companion take, not this text-native debate post.
For the alternative, use one clean, tall spec-sheet image with the three questions. That follows Maryam’s structured, exact, saveable reference-card pattern rather than a decorative mockup.

Instagram profile check failed this run (WebFetch returned no page content) — no IG reading today, flagged rather than reused from 08-17.
